I paint because I love the unhurried process of creating something. Layer by layer, a painting takes shape.
I'm drawn to the moments that rarely make the headlines of our lives. The quiet in-between moments.
I like that a painting asks very little of us. It can hang quietly on a wall for years, never demanding attention, never competing to be seen. It simply exists, holding a story, a memory, or a feeling.
